where one fairly easily ticks off 150 species in a day...

Mkuze Game Reserve, incorporates 6 distinctly different habitat types (savannah, sand forest, swamp forest, riverine forest, wetland and grassland) and has a bird list of over 430 species. One can fairly easily tick off 150 species in a day.

A few of the specials are Southern Banded Snake Eagle, Pel's Fishing Owl, Pinkbacked Pelican, Green Malkoha (Coucal), Broadbilled Roller, African Broadbill, Eastern (Yellow-spotted) Nicator, Rudd's Apalis, Neergaard's Sunbird, Pinkthroated Twinspot and Grey Waxbill.

It also has a wide variety of animal species to see – Black and White Rhino, Hippo, Buffalo, Leopard, Elephant, etc. The rare Suni antelope is also found here in sand forest habitat.
