Day 2:
After breakfast,
we’ll drive on up to
Hluhluwe-Imfolozi
Game Reserve, about
2 hours drive away.
After a drive
through the park
(depending on how
many animals and
birds we see), we’ll
reach the tented
camp at Mpila, our
overnight stop.
After lunch we’ll
do some more
exploring of the
park and see how
many of the Big 5 we
can spot. We’ll have
a barbeque dinner in
the camp.
Day 3:
We’ll spend the day
in the park perhaps
taking an early
morning game walk in
the company of an
armed ranger and
then later, after
breakfast, do some
more wild life
spotting.
After lunch at
Hilltop Camp, we’ll
leave the park in
time to get to our
accommodation at the
Ghost Mountain Inn
in Mkuze – about 2
hour’s drive away.
We should be in time
for an evening boat
cruise on the Mkuze
River - the birding
here is excellent.
