• A night and day in the Oribi Gorge area on south coast of KwaZulu Natal. Amongst many other riverine forest and woodland species, here we’ll look for Knysna Woodpecker at the northern limit of it’s range, Knysna Turaco, Grey Cuckooshrike, Crowned Eagle, Longtailed Wagtail, Scalythroated Honeyguide, etc.

Another alternative is to continue further north into Swaziland, spending a night or two there and then into Kruger National Park for 2 or 3 days there. This may be more practical if you intend flying out of Johannesburg.
